Over Thanksgiving I was informed by my native Texan SIL and her ex husband (my brother) who's lived in Texas for over a decade, that my house MUST have Texas flair.

I said that would be kind of poseur-ish, wouldn't it, since I haven't been here but a minute?

I was told that I MUST display Texas spirit.

I don't do well in situations where people boss me around. I'm not a natural follower. So I want to go left when you tell me to go right.

But I got some flair. Is it enough, do you think?
