The perfect fediverse app doesn't exist.
Unless the same person develops both the server and client/app, and to a degree that 99% of edge cases are handled gracefully.
That's why it's not fair to compare fedi apps to twitter/IG/FB/etc because we don't have the same resources they do.

guys, when explaining the #fediverse to new people, just go with the simplest analogy, e-mail. worry about the specifics later. no i don't care if it's not completely accurate, you can make it more "correct" after the fact. you just need to put very basic understanding into new people's heads, you don't need to go
"oh well activitypub is a yoingus sploingus babingyi"
no just say something like
"say you were on outlook, and i was on gmail. we could still send each other emails right? imagine that, but with tweets instead of emails"
i've used this explanation dozens of times, and people always get it.

It's a win win regardless. Either there will be less censorship, or twitter will implode and people will move to the fediverse, or better yet people significantly reduce screentime on surveillance apps. -FX

What podcast app are you using for Grimerica Outlawed Plus? I'm degoogled and use FOSS apps from F-droid. I primarily use Antennae Pod b/c I download and watch episodes with no SIM/data. Podverse doesn't seem to work with no data connection. But I can't get Antennae Pod to add the custom RSS for Grimerica Outlawed Plus. I have added other subscription RSS to Antennae Pod but it is always a bit of a struggle. I also like Podverse for No Agenda Show bc of Chapters. Just wish it worked offline
Update: It appears that the "I'm Vaccinated" badge on OK cupid skipped right over "I support Ukraine" and went in for the kill shot "Climate Change Advocate". I am not sure if this is supposed to mean that they advocate for climate change or they advocate that the climate does in fact change. @adam @Johncdvorak

Boots on the ground report. OKcupid dating app has dropped the "I'm Vaccinated" badge, that lets your potential matches know your allegiance to big pharma. Protonmail purchases Simple login. I already use both of these, but it looks like protonmail users will soon get simplelogin email aliasing included. Stop giving out your primary email address when you sign up for things. Prevent spam, and protect privacy. FX

Be careful when receiving an email supposedly from Trezor or other crypto companies.
Apparently MailChimp had a breach and the email addresses of people signed up to crypto companies have been leaked.
Fairly convincing Trezor phishing emails are making the rounds.
